Los Nietos, Espagne est un petit village de pêcheurs avec sa propre marina sur le Mar Menor, qui a commencé comme un tout petit établissement de pêche et a été par la suite urbanisé pour permettre la construction de plus de résidences de vacances près du Mar Menor. C'est maintenant une communauté animée avec de nombreux visiteurs, surtout en été, avec des événements à d'autres moments. De nombreux étrangers, principalement britanniques, y vivent. Le village est à la terminaison est de la ligne de chemin de fer de banlieue Cartagena-Los Nietos.
