Tamaríu[1] est une entité de population ou une pedanía espagnole appartenant à la municipalité de Palafrugell. Elle se trouve dans la comarca du Bas Ampourdán, province de Gérone, dans sa zone côtière située en pleine Costa Brava, dans une baie prononcée flanquée par des formations d'orthose au nord et des roches calcaires au sud. La plage est principalement composée de sable à gros grains et de gravier d'orthose.
