Abastas est une localité espagnole de la province de Palencia. Elle fait partie de la municipalité de Valle del Retortillo. À la chute de l'Ancien Régime, la localité devient un municipio constitutionnel, dans le district de Frechilla.[2] Lors du recensement de 1842, elle comptait 40 ménages et 208 habitants. Par la suite, elle annexe la municipalité d'Abastillas[3] et dans les années 1970, elle est intégrée dans Valle de Retortillo. Elle comptait alors 58 ménages et 170 habitants de droit, 166 de fait.
