L'église Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación a été construite après la reconquête musulmane de Grazalema (1485) sur le site d'un ancien temple mudéjar.
Simple, d' un blanc éclatant et d'une beauté extraordinaire, c'est le temple du saint patron de Grazalema, San Atanasio , et de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, avec un sanctuaire néoclassique représentant l'Incarnation et la Sainte Famille sur le maître-autel.
