La gare de Châteauneuf-sur-Charente est une gare ferroviaire française située dans la commune de Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, et le département de la Charente.
La compagnie des Charentes obtient la concession de la Ligne de Beillant à Angoulême. Ce sera une ligne à double voie et écartement normal. Pour des raisons d'économie et pour éviter la construction d'ouvrages d'art, la ligne suit le cours de la Charente et ses courbes entre Angoulême et Châteauneuf. La section Angoulême - Cognac est inaugurée le 16 octobre 1867.
