Masléon est une commune française située dans le département de la Haute-Vienne, en région Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Le bourg est issu d’une bastide, la plus septentrionale de toutes ), créée par Philippe IV le Bel, en 1289, dont il n’a gardé que la structure de ses rues parallèles et perpendiculaires. La commune englobe aujourd'hui une ancienne enclave de la commune voisine qui lui est rattachée en 1833.
