Plaisia est une commune française située dans le département du Jura en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
Ce petit village est situé à flanc de colline. Implanté à 3 ou 4 km du lac de Vouglans, cela en fait un lieu de passage lors des beaux jours. Un gîte reconnu est situé dans le hameau de Merlu. Le village est environné de parcelles de champs libres et des bois et la circulation automobile y est faible.
