Alex [alɛks] est une commune française située dans le département de la Haute-Savoie, en région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Alex est un village proche du lac d'Annecy, situé entre Annecy-le-Vieux et Thônes, au pied du massif des Aravis, plus précisément dans le massif des Bornes au pied des dents de Lanfon et de la dent du Cruet.
