Igé est une commune française située dans le département de Saône-et-Loire en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Le village est situé dans le Mâconnais, à la lisière du Haut-Mâconnais au nord, entre Verzé, Azé et Cluny. On peut y trouver des vestiges historiques comme la chapelle de Domange qui date du Xe siècle ou une série de lavoirs situés dans tout le village. Village viticole du vignoble du Mâconnais.
