Plouvien [pluvjɛ̃] est une commune du département du Finistère, dans la région Bretagne, en France. Située à seulement 17 km au nord de Brest et à 10 km au sud des plages de la Mer d'Iroise, proche de l'Aber-Benoît et peu éloigné de l'Aber-Wrac'h, Plouvien bénéficie en outre d'une image écologique vis-à-vis de ses voisins notamment en raison de l'implantation d'une centrale éolienne au nord de la commune. Les habitants de Plouvien sont appelés les Plouviennois.
