Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay est une ancienne commune française située dans le département de la Vendée en région Pays de la Loire. Petite ville, Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay était peuplée de 4533 habitants en 2016. Elle fait partie depuis 2019 de la commune de Montaigu-Vendée.
Forte de son occupation passée par de grands propriétaires terriens, la commune est aussi surnommée Saint-Hilaire-les-Sept-Châteaux. Son paysage est typique du Bocage vendéen. Ses habitants sont les Loulaysiens et les Loulaysiennes.
