Saint-Père, anciennement dénommée Saint-Père-sous-Vézelay, est une commune du département de l'Yonne, dans la région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, en France. Elle est labellisée Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne Franche-Comté depuis 2019.Saint-Père est traversé par la Cure, affluent de l'Yonne et rivière de première catégorie . Le village se trouve dans un « creux » cerné de toute part de lieux d'altitude . Deux autres villages se trouvent sur la commune : Fontette et Nanchèvre.
