Pringy est un village du sud-est marnais, à quelques kilomètres au nord de Vitry-le-François. Le territoire de la commune s'étend du sud-ouest au nord-est sur environ 6,5 km, de la Champagne crayeuse aux rives de la Marne et de la Guenelle. Le ruisseau de Vamont sépare Pringy de Drouilly au sud. L'altitude varie entre 90 m et 181 m . Le village est traversé par la route départementale 2. Les collines de la Champagne crayeuse, à l'ouest, sont couvertes de champs. On y trouve plusieurs lieux-dits et fermes dont la Ferme de la Noue de Chaudière.
