Plouëc-du-Trieux [pluɛk dy tʁijø] est une commune située dans le département des Côtes-d'Armor en région Bretagne.La commune de Plouëc-du-Trieux est située entre un fleuve côtier qui la borde à l'Est et un affluent du Jaudy, le Théoulas, à l'Ouest, sur un plateau élevé atteignant à certains endroits 110 mètres d'altitude. Les plages se trouvent à une vingtaine de kilomètres et les premières villes entre 15 et 20 km environ. Saint-Brieuc est atteignable en 0h40 , Brest en 1h25 et Rennes en 1h40 .
