Vix est une commune française située dans le département de la Côte-d'Or, en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Le village est connu pour le "vase de Vix" découvert sur le mont Lassois au pied duquel le village se niche.Situé à 200 mètres d'altitude, Vix s'étend sur 3,5 km2. Le territoire communal est dominé par le mont Lassois qui culmine à 306 mètres.
