Fleury-sur-Orne est une commune française, située dans le département du Calvados en région Normandie, peuplée de 4 938 habitants . Elle s'est appelée Allemagne jusqu'en 1917.La commune a été baptisée Fleury-sur-Orne par décision du conseil municipal le 23 août 1916, validée par le conseil des ministres le 12 avril 1917, en hommage au village Fleury-devant-Daumont situé dans le département de la Meuse, qui a été détruit en 1916 pendant la bataille de Verdun.
