Trémaouézan [tʁemawezɑ̃] est une commune du département du Finistère, dans la région Bretagne, en France.La tourbière de Lann Gazel , d'une superficie d'environ 500 ha, est située à cheval sur les communes de Ploudaniel, Trémaouézan et Plouédern ; elle est drainée par des ruisseaux tributaires de l'Aber-Wrac'h s'écoulant vers le nord-ouest en deux branches principales entre lesquelles se situe le bourg de Ploudaniel. D'anciennes tourbières, datant d'environ 12 000 ans, y ont été exploitées.
