Givry est une commune française, chef-lieu de canton, située dans le département de Saône-et-Loire en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Situé en Bourgogne, dans le département de Saône-et-Loire, à environ dix kilomètres au nord-ouest de Chalon-sur-Saône, ce chef-lieu de canton compte trois hameaux viticoles : Cortiambles, Poncey et Russilly.
