L'armistice de 1918, signé le 11 novembre 1918 à 5 h 15,, met provisoirement fin aux combats de la Première Guerre mondiale . Prévu pour durer 36 jours, il est ensuite renouvelé. L'armistice reconnaît de facto la victoire des Alliés et la défaite de l'Allemagne, mais il ne s'agit pas d'une capitulation au sens propre.
