La gare de Nantes , est la principale gare ferroviaire de voyageurs de l'agglomération nantaise, située dans le département de la Loire-Atlantique, en région Pays de la Loire.La gare actuelle, datant du milieu du XXe siècle, remplace l'ancienne gare de Nantes-Orléans, de la compagnie du Paris-Orléans, par opposition à la gare de l'État, terminus nantais du réseau de l'État. Son bâtiment voyageurs d'origine, ayant subi d'importants dégâts pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, est finalement détruit, puis reconstruit sous une forme plus moderne ; d'importants réaménagements sont par la suite entrepris, dans les années 1980, avec l'arrivée du TGV, puis à la fin des années 2010.
