Communèment appelés "Soupir I" et "Soupir II", ces deux cimetières se font face de part et d'autre de la RD 925, en périphérie de la commune.
Ils abritent à eux deux un peu plus de 10 000 corps de soldats français (c'est d'ailleurs pourquoi fut créé "Soupir II" en 1934, le premier devenant trop exigu) tombés aux abords du Chemin des Dames durant la première guerre.
A noter que quelques soldats russes y sont également inhumés...
