S’étend approximativement de Vallauris, où Napoléon Bonaparte a mis le pied le 1er mars 1815 de la ville d’exil de l’île d’Elbe, via Grasse, Sisteron, Gap et Corps à Grenoble. Dans la Prairie de la Rencontre près de Laffrey, les troupes royalistes rejoignirent l’empereur de retour. Une statue équestre marque l’histoire.
