L’aqueduc romain de Divona a été construit pour desservir la ville antique de Divona Cadurcorum, Cahors.Une ancienne tradition attribuait la construction de l'aqueduc à Polémius à la suite de la découverte d'une brique dédicacée à PONTIO POLEMIO PRAETORI GALLIARVM PRAEFECTO qui avait été signalée par Roaldès au XVIIe siècle près de Savanac. Didier Rigal fait remarquer que les seuls Polemius connus sont beaucoup trop tardifs pour qu'on puisse leur attribuer la construction de l'aqueduc.
