Le séisme de 1580 dans le pas de Calais , a eu lieu le 6 avril 1580 à 6 h du soir et a été ressenti en France jusqu'en Normandie, en Belgique actuelle et en Angleterre. On situe aujourd’hui l'épicentre de ce séisme dans le pas de Calais, près de Douvres. C'est l'évènement sismique ancien qui a le plus marqué les chroniqueurs, le plus destructeur et important probablement pour l'Angleterre, l'Ouest de la Belgique et le Nord de la France .
