Elle fut construite vers 1852 par le maître de forges Alexandre GOUVY et devint le lieu de villégiature favori de son frère, le compositeur Théodore Gouvy. La Villa abrite actuellement le siège de l'Institut Théodore Gouvy, qui a su redorer le blason du musicien longtemps oublié en éditant et en faisant interpréter ses œuvres dans le monde entier. La Villa n'est pas habituellement ouverte au public, merci de prendre rendez-vous auprès de l'Institut Théodore Gouvy.
