It was built around 1852 by the ironmaster Alexandre GOUVY, and became the favorite vacation spot of his brother, the composer Théodore Gouvy. The Villa now houses the headquarters of the Institut Théodore Gouvy, which has restored the reputation of the long-forgotten musician by publishing and performing his works worldwide. The Villa is not usually open to the public, so please make an appointment with the Institut Théodore Gouvy.
