La Cascade des Ondines portait initialement le nom de Wasserfelsen. C'est un site naturel qui mérite le détour. A son sommet, on peut découvrir un ancien lavoir. Le large mur de soutènement a été construit vers 1860 lors de la construction de la ligne de chemin de fer Lemberg-Bitche. De là, le ruisseau s'écoule sur d'imposantes plaques de grès pour former de belles cascades, particulièrement impressionnantes en hiver. Le mince filet d’eau forme à ce niveau les tout premiers prémices de la Zinzel du Nord.
On accède à la cascade depuis le chalet du Club Vosgien à Lemberg (descendre les escaliers puis suivre l’anneau jaune).
