Doté d’une superficie de 115 hectares, le parc du château de Chantilly est le résultat de plusieurs créations réalisées selon les modes de chaque époque : le jardin à la française dessiné par André Le Nôtre au XVIIe siècle, le jardin anglo-chinois à la fin du XVIIIe siècle et le jardin anglais au XIXe siècle.
Il offre ainsi un témoignage unique du rapport entre l’homme et la nature en Occident depuis plus de trois siècles.

Pièces d'eau, bassins, canaux et parc boisé avec statues, fabrique et hameau, s'articule autour de l'ensemble monumental constitué par le château des Montmorency du XVIe siècle et le château du Duc d'Aumale du XIXe siècle (Monument historique et jardin remarquable).
