L'Eglise de Merviller est un édifice dédié à Saint-Barthélemy. Très ancienne et rénovée en 1763, elle comporte une tour carrée, massive, recouverte d'un toit court et bombé. Sa nef est construite sur le style "grange" et n'est pas subdivisée à l'intérieur par des piliers.
On retrouve à l'intérieur de l'édifice 2 tableaux remarquables, 3 lustres en cristal de Baccarat, ainsi que des bancs lorrains qui sont des témoins d'une reconstruction de la primitive église.
