L’église Saint-Gorgon a été construite au XIIe siècle. Une partie de l’édifice surplombe l’Yron depuis 800 ans : il s’agit du chœur et de l’abside. Elle reprend en partie les principes du style roman, à savoir les murs massifs, l’arc en plein cintre ainsi que la voûte. Les fenêtres furent percées au XVIIIe siècle et le clocher reconstruit au-dessus du chœur en 1836.
