Aux confins de la Gascogne, le lac de la Gimone est un plan d'eau exceptionnel par son ampleur et par son site : 250 hectares de superficie et 6 km de long, il s'inscrit dans l'environnement préservé et authentique, offrant au visiteur la sensation d'espace et de liberté.
A quelques kilomètres de cette belle nature, on peut voir l'église fortifiée de Simorre, les belles maisons anciennes de Masseube.
Le lac de la Gimone est au coeur d'un petit pays à la nature préservée et au patrimoine de qualité.
