Agrandissement au début du XVIIIe siècle (1704) de l'édifice par retournement. De ce fait, le clocher domine dorénavant le Maître Autel, cas assez exceptionnel. Cette église abrite un tableau de «La crucifixion du Seigneur » (œuvre de Rubens ou Van Dyck). Le Maître Autel est une belle pièce d'architecture renaissance en marbre L’édifice possède de remarquables vitraux. A noter L’église n’est ouverte au public que durant les services religieux.
