Lieu de baignade privilégié des vacanciers, la cascade du Martinet est située dans la commune de Saint-Etienne-Vallée-Française sur le gardon de Sainte Croix, entre Cévennes lozériennes et Cévennes gardoises.
Ses eaux limpides d'excellente qualité, ses piscines naturelles et son cadre préservé sont fort appréciés des baigneurs et des randonneurs.
Le sentier d’accès à la cascade du Martinet est interdit par l’arrêté municipal du 29 avril 2022 pour des questions de sécurité.
