Situé au coeur de la forêt, le musée retrace à travers ses collections permanentes 5 siècles de savoir-faire des verriers, taillandiers, sabotiers, charbonniers et brodeuses.
Une salle des dédiée au maître-verrier François Théodore Legras (1839-1916) et une autre à la Résistance en Vôge.
Ouvert toute l'année pour les groupes sur rendez-vous en téléphonant au préalable, aire de pique-nique, parking (pour cars et V.L.), boutique (livres, cartes postales, objets en verre), projection audiovisuel… Expositions et animations temporaires sont organisées en été.
