Ce charmant édifice, daté des XIIème et XVIème siècles, a été fortement dénaturé au XIXème siècle. De plan en croix latine, il est constitué d’une nef à vaisseau unique, d’une abside à trois pans et d’un clocher fin à la croisée du transept.
Renfermant quelques sculptures du XVIème siècle, ce sont surtout ses vitraux de la même époque qui avaient été classés Monuments Historiques en 1913, notamment une verrière de la Légende de Sainte Marguerite qui datait de 1545.
Restée en la possession des habitants du hameau pendant plusieurs siècles, l’église passa propriété de la commune de St Germain au début du XXème siècle.
Malheureusement, dans un état de délabrement avancé, celle-ci n’est plus ouverte au public.
