Monument très rare dans l'Ouest de la France, l'hypogée païen de Louin date de l'époque gallo-romaine. Il a été découvert en 1898 par M. Moreau alors qu'il travaillait dans son champ. En creusant profondément, il dégagea un accès, donnant sur une chambre funéraire. Celle-ci contient deux cercueils de pierre, encore visibles aujourd'hui.
