Le 15 mars 1943, un camp de maquisards de l’Armée secrète de l’unité Neuvic-Lapleau s’établissait dans un abri rocheux des gorges escarpées de la Dordogne. En dépit d’un accès plus qu’ardu, ce camp fut débusqué par les forces de police de Vichy en 1944. En mémoire aux maquisards, ce circuit vous conduit à une de leurs cachettes les plus inaccessibles des gorges de la Dordogne. Départ : Beunac, Saint-Merd-de-Lapleau. Durée : 2h. Distance : 4.3 km. Balisage : bleu. Difficulté : difficile (attention, accès à la grotte difficile [escalade] et déconseillé par temps de pluie. Grotte étroite et non sécurisée, surplombant une falaise).
