Newburn est une paroisse semi-rurale, ancien quartier électoral et ancien district urbain dans l'ouest de Newcastle upon Tyne, dans le Nord-Est de l'Angleterre. Située sur la rive nord de la rivière Tyne, elle s'élève dans la vallée à partir de la rivière. Elle se trouve à environ 8 kilomètres du centre-ville, à 22 kilomètres à l'est de Hexham et à 21 kilomètres au sud-sud-ouest de Morpeth. Lors du recensement de 2001, la population était de 9 301 habitants, passant à 9 536 lors du recensement de 2011. Newburn est dans le district de Newcastle upon Tyne dans le Tyne et Wear et fait partie de la circonscription parlementaire de Newcastle upon Tyne North.
