Marston Moreteyne est un grand village anglais et une paroisse civile située sur l'A421 entre Bedford et Milton Keynes dans le comté de Bedfordshire. La population était de 4 560 lors du recensement de 2001 et de 4 556 lors du recensement de 2011. Le village est desservi par la station de train de Millbrook, à environ un mile sur la ligne Marston Vale.
Le nom de lieu 'Marston Moretaine' est attesté pour la première fois dans une charte anglo-saxonne de 969, où il apparaît sous le nom de Mercstuninga. Il apparaît sous le nom de Merestone dans le Domesday Book de 1086. Le nom dérive de l'ancien anglais mersc-tūn signifiant 'ville ou établissement près d'un marais'. Il était détenu par la famille de Moretaine, de Mortain en Normandie, en France. Les panneaux routiers locaux utilisent de manière incohérente les orthographes "Moreteyne" et "Moretaine".
