Halstead est un village et une paroisse civile dans le district de Sevenoaks dans le Kent, en Angleterre. Il est situé à 4,7 miles au sud-est d'Orpington et à 6,1 miles au nord-ouest de Sevenoaks, adjacent à la frontière du Kent avec le Grand Londres. La population de la paroisse civile selon le recensement de 2011 est de 1 607.
Le nom Halstead est dérivé de l'ancien anglais hald et stede, signifiant 'lieu sûr' ou 'lieu de refuge'. L'église paroissiale est dédiée à Sainte Marguerite. L'école primaire Halstead Community est située dans le village.
