Aberteifi ou Cardigan , une ville du comté du Ceredigion à l'ouest du pays de Galles. Le nom anglais « Cardigan » est une anglicisation basée sur la prononciation de Ceredigion.
La ville fut fondée en 1093 par le Normand Roger II de Montgomery, située à l'estuaire de la Teifi. Les ruines du château roman gardent encore l'accès sud à la ville. Son admirable pont à six arches, roman à l'origine, fut reconstruit en 1640, après avoir été endommagé par la guerre civile.
