Llanybydder est une ville de marché et une communauté qui s'étend le long de la rivière Teifi dans le Carmarthenshire, au pays de Galles occidental. Lors du recensement de 2011, la population de la communauté était de 1 638, en augmentation par rapport à 1 423 lors du recensement de 2001.
Llanybydder est située à environ 5 miles au sud-ouest de Lampeter et de l'Université du pays de Galles Trinity Saint David. Les montagnes Mynydd Llanllwni et Mynydd Pencarreg sont respectivement situées au sud et à l'est de Llanybydder.
