La gare de Newport-on-Tay East a précédemment desservi la ville de Newport-on-Tay, Fife, Écosse. La gare a fermé en 1969.
La gare de Newport-on-Tay East a été ouverte par le North British Railway le 13 mai 1879 avec une voie de raccordement depuis l'extrémité sud du pont de Tay qui a ensuite été prolongée jusqu'à Tayport. En 1923, elle est devenue la LNER et depuis 1948, la région écossaise des British Railways. La ligne était à voie unique mais avec des points de croisement à la gare de Wormit et le second était à Newport-on-Tay East. La gare de Newport-on-Tay West, avec sa plateforme unique, était beaucoup plus petite.
