Le château de Richmond, situé à Richmond, dans le Yorkshire du Nord, en Angleterre, occupe une position dominante au-dessus de la rivière Swale, à proximité du centre de la ville de Richmond. Il s'appelle à l'origine Mont Riche . Le château est construit par Alain le Roux à partir de 1071, à la suite de la conquête normande de l'Angleterre, et le Domesday Book de 1086 fait référence à un château à Richmond.
