La gare de Kingsbridge était la gare terminus de la ligne à voie unique GWR allant de Brent à la ville de Kingsbridge.
Ouverte en décembre 1893, la gare en pierre servait la ville et les environs. La gare était également le terminus ferroviaire pour la ville de Salcombe. Des travaux ont été entrepris pour l'extension de la ligne de Kingsbridge à Salcombe, mais ceux-ci ont rapidement été abandonnés. Populaire tant pour les voyages locaux que pour les loisirs, la gare a connu une augmentation de 25 % du trafic durant sa dernière année d'exploitation.
