Le Mourne Wall a été construit pour enclore un bassin versant du réservoir de Silent Valley dans les montagnes de Mourne, en Irlande du Nord. Le mur en pierre de 1,5 mètre de haut, qui a été construit pour empêcher le bétail de contaminer les ressources en eau, a pris presque vingt ans à être achevé. Le projet a été supervisé par les commissaires aux eaux de la ville et du district de Belfast.
