De Mourne Wall werd gebouwd om een opvanggebied van het Silent Valley Reservoir in de Mourne Mountains, Noord-Ierland, af te bakenen. De 1,5 meter hoge stenen muur, die is gebouwd om te voorkomen dat vee de watervoorzieningen verontreinigt, duurde bijna twintig jaar om te voltooien. Het project werd Toezicht gehouden door de Watercommissarissen van de Stad en het District van Belfast.
