Le chemin de fer de l'hôpital High Royds était un court chemin de fer reliant l'asile du West Riding près de Leeds dans le West Yorkshire à la ligne du chemin de fer Midland entre Menston et Guiseley sur le chemin de fer conjoint d'Otley et Ilkley. La ligne a ouvert en 1883 et a fonctionné sur un peu plus de 0,5 miles, elle a été construite selon le gabarit standard de 4 pieds 8+1⁄2 pouces et était une ligne unique tout au long. La ligne a fermé dans les années 1930 face à la concurrence routière et à l'augmentation des coûts d'entretien mais a rouvert en 1939 lorsque le déclenchement de la guerre a entraîné une pénurie de carburant pour le transport routier. La fermeture définitive est survenue en 1951.
