La gare d'Aberayron à Aberaeron était le terminus de la ligne secondaire Lampeter, Aberayron et New Quay Light Railway de la ligne Carmarthen à Aberystwyth dans le Ceredigion, au pays de Galles. La branche se séparait de la ligne principale à Lampeter.
La gare a été intégrée à la Great Western Railway lors de la regroupement de 1923, passant à la région occidentale des chemins de fer britanniques lors de la nationalisation en 1948. Les services de passagers ont été interrompus en 1951 et le fret en 1963. La gare a accueilli un wagon de camping GWR de 1934 à 1939. Un wagon de camping a également été positionné ici par la région occidentale de 1952 à 1956, le wagon a été rejoint par un autre, donc il y avait deux wagons de 1957 à 1962.
