Halieis, ou Halice ou Halike, ou Halia, ou Alycus ou Alykos, ou Haliai, était une ville portuaire d'Hermionis, dans l'Argolis antique à l'embouchure du Golfe argolique. Le district est appelé Halias par Thucydide. Les habitants tiraient leur nom de leurs pêches. Les Tirynthiens et les Hermioniens se réfugièrent à Halieis lorsqu'ils furent expulsés de leurs propres villes par les Argives. Cette ville fut prise vers l'olympiade 80 par Aneristus, fils de Sperthias, et soumise à Sparte. Le district fut ensuite ravagé à plusieurs reprises par les Athéniens. Après la guerre du Péloponnèse, Halieis est mentionnée par Xénophon comme autonome.
